Rebecca Taylor, Board of Directors
Prior to founding Altair, Rebecca spent her career in strategy, product development, marketing and software development. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from Carnegie Mellon University. Before moving to Portland, Rebecca served in senior management positions at Palm and Loudcloud and was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and Oracle.
Rebecca is passionate about improving the lives of children living in foster care. She has been a CASA since 2006 and serves on the Board of Directors for Children First for Oregon. She used to have spare time where she enjoyed trail running, reading massive non-fiction tomes and watching kitschy 80s movies. In 2005, she traded spare time for children and couldn’t be happier.
Sherice Torres, Board of Directors
Sherice Torres is the Senior Vice President of Hard Goods for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products of Nickelodeon Networks, Inc. since . Prior to joining Nickelodeon, she served as a Consultant with Deloitte & Touche where she did strategic planning and change management across various industries. She serves as President of the New York chapter of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications — and is also on the New York steering committee for the Network of Executive Women. In 2006, she was honored as one of The Network Journals 25 influential black woman in business. Ms. Torres received a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. She currently lives in Silicon Valley with her husband and two beautiful sons.
Jocelyn Mozak, Board of Directors
Jocelyn is a self-described perfectionist who takes pride in doing the best she can in all aspects of life. As owner of her own business, wife and mother of two boys, Jocelyn is a seeker of balance. She strives each and every day to serve her family and her clients with integrity and passion.
Born and raised on the East Coast, she attended Cornell University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Following graduation, she worked at Intel as a Senior Hardware Designer. Jocelyn’s hard work and discipline earned her a full scholarship to Stanford University, where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. She returned to Intel and worked seven more years before striking out on her own. She now owns Mozak Design LLC, where she specializes in creating WordPress websites for her clients.
Lee Taylor, Board of Directors
Lee is a Senior Director of Finance at Nike, leading the Revenue and Margin Management planning for the Global Apparel and Equipment product engines. He holds a BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford University. Prior to moving to Portland, Lee held business strategy and international business development roles at Charles Schwab and product development roles at American Management Systems. Lee is an avid fitness enthusiast who now channels that energy into keeping up with his two active boys.
Felicia Tripp Folsom, Board of Directors
Felicia Tripp Folsom is the Deputy Director of the Portland Housing Center, a NeighborWorks homeownership center and graduate of the Achieving Excellence Program at Harvard’s Kennedy School. She previously worked at the Emergence Foundation before joining PHC in 2000. In her professional life, she is busy working on issues involving, affordable housing, social justice, healthcare and educational reform. Currently Ms. Tripp Folsom sits on the board of directors of Children First for Oregon, Innovative Changes and North/NE Business Alliance. When she is not busy serving the community, she is a carpooling mom of two very busy children.
Traci Kirkpatrick, Board of Directors
Traci is an Administrative Law Judge for the Public Utilities Commission of Oregon. Prior to joining the Commission, Traci practiced law at the Portland, Oregon office of Davis Wright Tremaine. She also practiced energy law in California after working in various business and policy positions at the Pacific Gas & Electric Company. Traci received an A.B., with honors, in political economics from the University of California at Berkeley and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. Ms. Kirkpatrick is a member of the California and Oregon State Bars. She is married to Desmond Kirkpatrick, a Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation and has two highly gifted children. In her spare time, she enjoys dreaming up new adventures for her family!
